I have studied Mathematics & Philosophy at the University of Oxford, and Psychology at Columbia University where I earned a PhD in 2013. I completed post-doctoral clinical internships at the Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Athens School of Medicine (Aeginition), as well as, at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit of Sismanoglio General Hospital. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Group Psychotherapy Association, a registered psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council in the UK, and a member in training of the Hellenic Association of Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy. I serve as co-chair of the Special Interest Group on Children and Adolescents of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, and as vice chair of the TREATme European Union network for research in youth psychotherapy. Since 2013 I have taught biannually as a Visiting Lecturer of Psychology at Columbia University my course entitled Self-Regulation: The Science of Becoming your Better Self which was awarded the Columbia University GSAS award for new course design in 2012. I continuously try to deepen my practice through further training in individual and group psychotherapy, supervision, research, and personal work. I care deeply about facilitating individuals in their journey towards a more authentic and fulfilling life.
